As Above, So Below
Okay, I couldn't help it, but I just watched what I think to be the best movie I have ever seen in my entire life. I just couldn't help but blog about this, so please bare with my over excitement. If you aren't familiar with the movie As Above, So Below, it's a horror film set in present day Paris, France in an underground tunnel system that is said to hold some kind of really historic relic from about seven hundred years earlier, and a group of people led by a couple obsessed with historical objects. Even though I didn't get to watch it from the very beginning I could still understand the primary plot which was great. I'm not really sure how to explain the awesomeness of the movie in words without completely spoiling, but you guys have got to just trust me and watch this. The whole idea behind it was just phenomenally creative and out of this world. I've actually never been this excited about a horror movie. I had the perfect way of expresses the movie's greatness, but completely had a brain fart when I started watching another movie (lol). I'm a sucker for movies. Isn't that the movie with the skulls that happens underground? That looks so scary! I'm happy to stick with Disney movies myself thank you, haha. Do you like horror movies? I do like Halloween movies. I'm always a sucker for Adams Family and Poltergeist and things like that, I just don't do jumpscares. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteYep. They're inside the catacombs underneath Paris. I also love Disney movies, my favorite is probably Alladin. I'm not much for jumpscare horror films, but I really liked that this one was completely different than others. It's pretty hard to find scary movies that aren't just like any other one and that aren't predictable.
